Hi
I want to make a tasty soup but I dont want to us any fats including cream or butter and I also cant use potato as I dont like soups with potato in.

I have tried making soups without using these items but they always turn out horrible and tasteless.

Anyone know a good recipe.

old ma overall has got a good one, but even better if you put some stilton in it. :-)
Tomato soup.. a few tomatoes and red peppers in the oven until they are cooked. remove peel and blend. add salt pepper and fried spicy sausage. cook for 20 mins. serve with toast..

just wondered mrs Overall if you have ever tried the broccoli stalks - they are just if not more delicious than the floret (although not half as pretty!) Lovely in soup : )
I use the stalks chopped & raw in salads
