I read some time ago that Pan Yan Pickle was to be brought back into the market. Is it in the U.K. shops yet? If not, why not?

Premier Foods seem to be dragging their heels over this. It's now just over a year since they said they would look into re-introducing it. A search on their website for ''Pan Yan'' still returns 'no results'. But read about it here.

Though the link gives a recipe, it's incorrect. The ingredients listed on the original labeling show the pickle was made from...

Rutabaga (swede)
Sugar
Apples
Carrots
Vinegar
Thickener (Modified starch)
Gherkins
Acetic Acid
Peppers
Onions
Spices
Colour (Caramel)
Flavourings

I wish Premier Foods would get a move on.
