Do You Make Your Own Soup??

my fella this weekend made his 2nd lot of homemade veggie soup! So gorgeous!

In the pressure cooker, water, tinned tomatos and any veggies you have available! This weeks soup had leeks, peppers, onions and carrots. Also with a couple of stock cubes in. After cooked season to taste.

I used to a lot, used to love home made watercress soup and hcicken noodle.

Puddi ... the thing is, when you live on your own ...

... I find it hard to motivate myself to spend ages preparing a meal that will take 5 minutes to eat.

So I eat out quite a bit and, well ...

... I suppose I have a lot of takeaways.

Ooh, I do sometimes cook batches of stuff, and freeze it, and then "ding" it during the week.

i make soup every week. We have
saturday soup - which is the contents of the veggie drawer - usually turned into minestone -with parmesain

bargain soup which is whatever veg is on offer in the cwop
(tomato, mushroom, celery etc) -a dash of cream and croutons

chicken broth - usually on a monday to use the chicken carcass, with added barley/pasta etc

all with crusty warm rolls and butter
YUM!
