1, McDonalds main activity is to turn those bits of animals that normally get thrown away into food that almost looks edible, but still tastes like the bits of animal that should be thrown away. The service they provide is to give jobs to people who would normally be jobless or spotty youths. 2, The sector that McDonalds is in is the food sector, why? God knows coz it ain�t edible. Hope this helps.

McDonalds can be argued to be more in the real estate business than the food industry. It makes more money in rent from its franchisees and from property speculation and development than it does from the 'food' it sells.

McD's is the biggest landowner apart from the Catholic church.  Also their are 18000 Big Macs made per second.  i don't think it should be demonised, no one forces its cutomers to eat there.  ooh, and its estimated that around 1 in 5 US citizens work for some part of the company in  their lives.
