I am looking for ways to cook meat on a gas BBQ with guaranteed succulent results! I dont eat a lot of meat and I tend to avoid it at barbeques as it is often dry and tough.
I am looking for advice on which cuts of meat to use, different types of meats, and cooking methods.
I was told to use chump steak and to cook it in tin foil which worked well. Any other suggestions?
Thanks.

Try cooking your meat a lot slower on a lower heat rather than nuking it on full blast. I constantly baste my chicken thighs when cooking with homemade BBQ sauce....but any marinade will be fine.
Avoid seasoning with salt as this draws the moisture out of the meat.

Like hammerman has suggested, cook it slowly, I tend to blast mine for a couple of minutes to seal in the flavours and then turn down the heat.

Put in marinade the day before if possible and pop in fridge.

And keep basting when cooking.
If cooking ribs, I strongly suggest gently simmering them in water for 10-15 mins before you put them on the BBQ!

They will be amazingly succulent & juicy. All that's required is some BBQ sauce.
I watched a Nigella programme once where she boiled the chicken legs etc.. in Milk first so when she put them on the barbi they were almost cooked and all she had to do was cook the outside,, that stops the whole raw inside burnt outside thing...
