apple charlotte and clotted cream

Help! I am sure I read in a magazine over the weekend how to make the above dish, but I cannot find the magazine anywhere and it is driving me mad. The only papers we have are the Daily and Sunday Telegraph and the Daily and Sunday Express - did anyone else see this article? If so, where? I should be glad of any help, thank you.

Thanks all, I KNEW I had seen it, thought at one stage I was going mad! Anyway, now I know which paper it was in, I can search.... Incidentally am I the only one who every few days has to haul a TON of paper out for recycling? . But we still take the papers......!

It takes me a few days to get through the weekend papers.

Thanks, Marval, afraid it isn't, I have gone through all the papers from the weekend, can't find the small mag which comes on a Saturday, that must be where it is, don't know what I've done with it, of course now I can't find it, it is the one thing in the world I must have, but WHERE IS IT?! I do have a friend down the road who does hot cook, much, so she will have it and perhaps I can borrow hers. Thanks very much, all of you, for your trouble.

My God, I've nearly gone mad this morning - got on to the Tel website, sent them a detailed list of name, address, etc and my question - where is the dratted recipe, it wouldn't submit, hadn't put in the prom code, didn't know that, couldn't find it, then did, eventually got the thing off, then looked at answerbank, what a mistake, should have looked FIRST, there was the answer, thank you, thank you, thank you vegasmad, out to the recycling, found the recipe!! You could have heard me shouting eureka all over the county - anyway, now I've got the thing must make the pudding, but the best bit is, it tells you how to make clotted cream.

Thanks again to you vegasmad, and to all you others who have helped - I'd like to invite you all over to taste it!!

I'm very glad to have helped. It's so frustrating when you know that you
have something but you cannot find it. But all is well now!! Hope you enjoy
it - I will be having a go at making it myself, it sounds lovely (especially the
