I bought a wee pot with fresh parsley growing in it in a supermarket a few days ago. I used some to make stew yesterday. My question is will the parsley keep growing in the pot or will it only last til I've used what is of it?

will keep growing
cut the parsley at the base of the stem each time you use a bit
grow outside in the pot or transplant ia space in the garden
I've tried to grow on these and similar herbs, both by re-potting and by planting out. But I've had little success - the plants seem to be too delicate to start with. So these days I buy the pre-cut herbs as I find they're a more ecomomic alternative.

In the summer I always re plant the parsley in the garden with great success.
Parsley is like a weed. Even the most inept of gardeners like myself can always manage a decent crop. The stuff just keeps coming back year after year in the same pot.
I just repot the supermarket herbs and keep them on the kitchen window sill. Some thrive and some fail. Basil is the best for potting on.
