The stuff you get in supermarkets is terrible, honestly!  My personal favourite is www.wildwestjerky.co.uk, this is really good American imported stuff, all varieties are spot-on (although the peppered is my favourite)!  The meat is very good quality, extra lean with little or no fatty bits!  Give it a try!
