am assured its good stuff & expensive. (xmas pressy)....it's not even sweet but sour as hell. Am I s'posed to heat it?
It sounds like it's "off" or corked. All you can do is tip it down the sink.
pour some spices in it and mull

It took me all morning to open the bottle Mrs.O...and I cut myself!
I'm with you tambo! I cannot abide any sort of wine, much prefer a nice single malt whisky.
Awww, poor tambo!
Come round to mine and we'll open a nice bottle of QC

am just trying to keep up with you youngsters......better stick to tea ;(
Lol tamborine! Youngsters dont all drink wine! :-)

Chuck the wine down the sink and pour yourself a nice pint of Strongbow and black!
I never drink wine, evil stuff! And only ever drink pints (Far too many of them as well but there goes!)
no no no you don't put balcurrant into cider, that's wrong
It shouldn't taste sour, but if you are unaccustomed to the taste of something like Cab Sauv, you probably won't like it that much. Save it for making bolognese, stews etc.
Well I certainly wouldnt drink Strongbow on its own, that is eugh!

Although Magners & Bulmers I sometimes have without the black, well Robinsons apple and blackcurrant).
If you suspect that any wine is 'off', take it back to the retailer. If they confirm your suspicions for themselves, they will give you a replacement bottle.
