Frozen turkey from local supermarket, Moist ,breast meat white other meat dark but normal

Fresh Turkey from local butcher Dry as old boots, breast meat white ,other meat the colour of cooked liver ,why would this be , any ideas please

Too old probably - get yourself a decent butcher!
