Does anybody bother with a 'proper' Roast Sunday lunch anymore? Gloucester old spot leg of pork, apple sauce, crisp crunchy crackling, golden crispy roast potatoes (Maris Piper - made from scratch) new baby boiled potatoes with the skins on, cabbage, carrots, petit pois, sage and onion gravy.
Blackberry and apple pie or cherry pie and custard for pud. (All fruit and vegfrom our garden)

Sometimes eat main meal in the evening, but as it is so cold today we decided to have Sunday Lunch instead of dinner.
We have always had this meal unless we are at the beach in the summer.

I cook a roast practically every week. This week its roast lamb with roast potatoes (you can't beat King Eddies!) sweetheart cabbage, cauli, broc, carrot & turnip (mashed), gravy and mint sauce. All from scratch (apart from the mint sauce - that's courtesy of Morrison's!
No pud though - I haven't got a sweet tooth.
