the ice cream van

has just visited our estate and everyone came out the offices for ice cream. he just made loads of money, why don't other ice cream vans come on our estate, is there some sort of agrrement by the ice cream van man guilds :-)

seriously though anyone got any idea how this industry works? i know duncan banatyne made his first fortune from ice cream vans, i would be interested to know how it akll works, do you get winters off?

I remember when I was a child we had several different ice cream vans visit our street until one of them was torched in some kind of turf war. Possibly things have changed since then and they may need licence or something similar from Trading Standards to operate in a particular area.
