My mums booked a table at a pub for fathers day. It would be rude if he paid but she wants me to because he's my father! Normally we go out with my brother who pays but he's on holiday.

Knowing her she will pay, but with money from my savings account which she has access to. By the way, I know this is the wrong section but she will have to give me that savings account which is in my name, when i'm 18 wouldn't she? if it was 16, i'd have it by now.

Cancel the table, that would serve her right, I think your mum is awful. My sister passed away recently and the first thing my mum and me did was give her kids (18 & 16) money so that they could get their dad something for Father's day, as he deserves something nice after all he has been through.
I'd tell her you already have a present for him, she cant expect you to pay xx

4get she's new days ago that i'd got something, I showed it to her, for aproval.

Everything i've said about my mum such as about the jobs, dad agrees with, and everything i've said about dad such as his silly eating habits mum agrees with.
Molly, just because the other agrees with the things about eachother, does not mean they would want or appreciate it being talked about with everyone on here!
That doesn't make it right for you to post it here though Molly.
Get your mum to pay...she doesn't seem short of a few quid.
You poor girl :( Your mother is exploiting you!
Tell her that you need to save your money for university. Seeing as you've already bought him a present, it seems unreasonable that she will take money from YOUR account to pay for it as well. Are you sure she's not just winding you up?
My mum was exactly the same, in fact she still calls to have a go at me if she thinks I haven't done enough for an occasion and I'm nearly 40 now! Luckily I have a sister top share the cost but we were always expected to pay for the meal between us and buy a gift.
Now i know better so it's easier for me to say what others have already. Tell her she booked she pays or you don't go! You've already got him a gift.
Or you could tell your mum that you'll pay if you can pick the restaurant and then bring everyone to mcdonalds..They do salads and all now so you've got the healthy option too Molly and it won't cost you a fortune..
Go for Suezys option, but dont forget to tell everyone they have to order from the 99p menu. That'll serve your mum right!
