School chocolate pie from the 70s

Hi All,
I'd love to have the recipe for a pie we used to get at school.
It was shortcrust sweet pastry with a light, milk chocolate filling. Like a mousse but denser.
Chocolate torte is definitely not it and I've never found it since.
Thanks in advance.

I loved school dinners, used to go back for seconds, probably why i've always been large. The thick skin off the custard and rice pudding was the best.

Oh no! Thick skin on custard and rice pudding!!! I hated school dinners, I can't think of one thing I ever liked. Ended up taking packed lunches every day - my poor Mum!!

I loved school dinners too (surprise!), peanut butter cookies, manchester tart, choc pudding with mint custard.....

Infact, I used to work as a school dinner lady quite a few years ago and it was all still the same, i put on bloody shedloads of weight!
