Dunno suezy, it jsut suddnely broke. It's okif you jsut want to quickly heat something to a very high temperature, as whatever setting you put it on, it doesn't cut out so carries on going to the hottest setting possible so if you leave it too long the bottom of the pan will be ruined and it'd waste lots of electricty. It's annoying if you wan't to cook something in a small pan though as you have to use the small ring at the back now. I made scrambled egg with lots of sweetcorn and cheese. But I ahd to do it at the back which hurt my back as I had to lean over to see if I was stiring all the bottom enough.
