I cook the gnocchi add some spinach to the pan, drain everything well and put in an oven proof dish. Crumble over a mild semi-soft blue cheese add dollops of creme fraiche, a grating of nutmeg and a sprinkle of parmesan. Cook in the oven until bubbling and brown on top.
I also do it with a tomato sauce. Fry an onion with some chorizo and peppers, add a tin of chopped tomatoes and some herbs and seasoning. Pour over cooked gnocchi sprinkle over grated cheese and breadcrumbs. Again in the oven until brown and bubbling.
