Adding milk to the egg can make it go further...I don't add anything, just melt the butter in the pan (or olive oil is nice too) and then add the eggs and scramble them
yes whitebears, i agree i think i saw milk being added to the eggs when i was young. to "make it go further ", i still use milk, but a very small amount, my mum used to add water to a tin of tomato soup, likely for the same reason
i add milk to my scrambled eggs , just the way i was taught , i also add a little knob of butter to pan ,this helps it from sticking to pan so i am told (yet to see it working though) {:-)
Definitely milk or cream,and butter-and stir constantly....nice creamy eggs. I never use the microwave-unless the eggs are for the dog....you can't have the same control over how they come out.
