Local butcher has them for sale. I've never tried them so..

Can you describe what they taste like?

And what is the best way to cook them?

even tell them about Cornwall - if you cant make jokes about yourself you are sunk.....
They're a strange mob in Northants DT.
I don't know why the people of Norfolk come in for so much stick. Compared to the people from Suffolk who appear on this site from time to time, they seem to be surprisingly normal!
Just depends on the area of Norfolk. I went on my hols to Holt last year, & the people seemed to be reasonably normal. Moved onto Thetford, & all the folk seemed to have an extra digit on each hand. They're also very good at swimming due to the webbed feet. lol

Strange in Northants....have you ever been to Market Harborough?
I went to Kettering and into a pub:

I said to Mr Northants, "Do you want a game of Darts?", he said "OK then", I said "Nearest to bull starts". He said "Baa", I said "Moo", he said "You're closest".
Never been to Market Harboro. Is it like Barnsley town center on a Sat night?
carrust, its because Thetford has the highest rainfall in East Anglia....
I always thought Market Harborough was in Leics.

Dt...lol I like that.

Carrust...I've only been once and was quite amusing.
All sub-human life is there on a Sat night.
Not all, otherwise Newcastle Bigg Market would have to close on Saturdays.

I haven't been to Barnsley either. I haven't been to many places really.
the best thing about Mkt Harborough - cheapest place to be buried in the UK...and thats a fact.
a lot of thetford is from London overspill so that may explain the strangeness of folk ;)

I used to sell pheasants on the market, was my saturday job when i was about 13 lol. we used to have a right giggle when people asked for a well hung c0ck lol
Check the bird for shot !!!

Otherwise your pain and the dental costs will far outweigh any pleasure you get from eating......!!!
Pheasant was a very common thing for me as a child, living with my grandparents in the country.

To this day I STILL think it's a waste of time and effort.
