Ignore above!!!!!was hunting for a question and it submitted it before i realised what i was doing!!!!
You want his extortionately expensive ''orange in a xmas pud'' recipe, don't you?
I looked at his restaurant and I thought it was quite reasonable...
ummmm
You call £160 per head reasonable~
I'd like to know what salary or pension you are on?
Pension....cheeky..!!! lol

I was expecting it to be much more than that. Looking at his taster menu and how many courses you get it would be something I would do for a very special occasion. Not a weekend treat...

I don't think I'd order any wine though.
I am on a pension too.
Have a look at The Waterside Inn,founded and run by the Roux Brothers. It seems reasonable(and more varied) than Mr Blumenthal, and it has THREE Michelin stars too.

It's in the same town(Bray) as The Fat Duck, and I believe there is another (only)One Michelin Star eaterie in the town too, aren't they spoilt.Mind you it's a very posh/exclusive area,so they can afford it!
As you think £160 reasonable,gonna treat me?LOL
PS:~
The Fat Duck taster course are quite small,so it's not really the bargain it seems.
Would I pay obscene prices to eat in a restaurant that was recommended by a tyre manufacturer? Probably not.
Umm, I recall you were thinking of taking your OH to The Fat Duck in May. Just to let you know bookings have now opened for his new London restaurant - Dinner.
