I made a Bailey's cheesecake a few weeks ago which turned out very nice. I used digestive biscuits for the base that time. I'm just thinking of trying something new if I make another and was wondering would ginger nuts work as a base?

Be sure to use good quality ginger biscuits. I used cheap ones and they were foul. Personally, I am not sure that ginger and baileys really go together. For a change what about adding a tablespoon of drinking choc (or cocoa slightly less) to your usual digestives. xx
I'm finding all this talk of ginger nuts somewhat personal!

I went to get the ingredients today but tesco had a sale on drink so I'm afraid I mis-spent my money. Next week though. Bad flobadob.
Hmmmmm, could even add grated ginger to the base for a more intense flavour... or what about chopping some chrystallised ginger? Or maybe choclate ginger chunks from Holland & Barrett? Mouth is watering! x
perhaps use a mix of both?
