'fridge pack'
just saw the advert for them on the telly ..
what a good idea...?
baked beans in a screw top container so you use what you want and reseal till next time ...
gosh, just what will they think up next! .. ;o)
i quite like a cold bake bean sarnie with a blob of daddies brown sauce, hmmm, yummy..
sainsbury's own brand are nice- i tried then after they came top in a good food blind testing and they are very nice but they don;t do to 150grm tins and anything more is wasted with me, so heinz all the way
oh yeah mcfluff, straight from the tin is good too ..
i always have to have a spoonful or two when im emptying the tin into a saucepan .. just to test 'em like, see if theyre ok .. ;o)
I hated baked beans as a child. I think I first ate them when I was about 19. I like the Sainsburys ones. They do a low salt version as well. When I was a student we used to have them with sausages, fried eggs and chips. Still the best way.
After saying I only ever eat Heinz Baked Beans for years and years, I am now hooked on C & B!! I put sweet chilie sauce in mine and have them on toast or a jacket spud. Luverly!!
