I'm organising a dinner/party sort of thing for around 10 guests. Have decided to go the mexican route. Any suggestions for inexpensive decorations/games etc? I'm pretty much sorted for the food. Chilli, spicy chicken, spicy beef, lots of dips and tortilla chips is as good as it gets. Just looking to make it a bit more special.
here are some games they are designed for kids, http://www.kidsdomain.com/holiday/cinco/party. html
but you could maybe adapt some of them to be suitable for adults. Plus I find that sometimes kids games are very funny and don't seem childish at all after copious amounts of alcohol, but maybe that's just me :). BTW Lidl and Aldi normally have cheap alcohol so maybe you can pick up a bargain bottle or two of tequila
If you have a Wal-mart close by they will have inexpensive decorations. I am not sure if they have them - Target Stores do - but a pinata is great if there are any children - or as a decoration for adults.
