Fish Pie - Possibly?
5 Answers
A long time ago a lady I knew used to make a delicious pie, i'm sure she called it American Fish Pie; it had potato, tuna (i think) & garden peas among other ingredients. It wasn't like the standard ones we eat now with smoked fish etc. If any one recognises it or knows of the name / recipe, i would appreciate it. Thanks

F/P Surprise, the Fish Pie, or the Whitby Fish Pie might suit the bill.
In essence you make up a pie filling and top with either mashed potato - the more common topping I guess nowadays - or make it with a pastry top. Why not make it like a cobbler and use sliced potatoes or even dumplings?
Hope this helps..
