Chicken Curry in fridge?
5 Answers
I made a beautiful chicken curry on Tuesday and have left it in the fridge. Could I still have it today, if warmed through properly in a microwave? Or am I at the risk of having the runs all over the weekend!?
Thanks in advance!

I normally think that, for meat, reheating a cooked meal after three days is ok, but wouldn't leave it longer than that. So if you don't think you'll eat it today then I would freeze it for a later date - but when you come to defrost it, make sure you eat it stright away after it's thawed.
I wouldn't reheat fish or shellfish. I'd also be very careful about keeping and reheating rice - I once went on a food hygiene awareness course where the trainer said that reheating leftover rice was a big cause of food poisoning. I can't remember how long she said it was ok to ekep cooked rice but she did stress that you had to really make sure it was boiled again properly.
