I've just bought a slow cooker, and I'd like to try it out today. I have boneless chicken breasts for tonight's dinner, but haven't a clue what to do with them. Any ideas?

I wouldn't recomend a slow cooker as the preffered method for that cut but if your interested in giving your slow cooker a try a chilli type dish with strips of chicken insteda of red meat. I've done it and it's delicious and much healthier.
Agree with jimmy, its meant for slow cooking, using cheaper cuts, might find that ure chicken breasts might break down to a pulp!!!
Agreed....mutton or some of the tougher beef joints would be perfect in there....a nice, slow cooked mutton curry would be nice.

Even a normal chicken tends to fall apart in there but most beef or lamb dishes are ok

Oh, right. Thanks so much. If I'd have gone ahead with the chicken, we could well have ended up with a takeaway then!! :o)

Many thanks.
if you google 'slow cooker' or 'crockpot' recipes, you'll find hundreds of them.
