Tesco clubcard voucher points

I have received my Tesco Clubcard offer but I dont want to use it at their store. I want to use it to get money off at restauirants like La Tasca. I understand that the voucher is worth 4 times more if done this way. Do I need to post the voucher back to Tesco and ask them to convert it to one worth 4 times more?

I did do it some years ago when I wanted a new bathroom suite - saved a fortune at MFI - I saved up a years vouchers and got �1200. MFI don't participate nowadays.

I just save mine up and use them Christmas shopping - a buy a lot of frozen turkeys for the hostel for homeless young people that I sponsor, and Tesco kindly double them up and deliver to the hostel.
