i am on one at the moment. its a very light detox but i think this time of year it is better than a hardcore one.
start the day with the ginger drink: boil fresh ginger, then add honey and squeeze half a lemon in.
mid morning: eat some fruit
lunch: either fresh vegetable soup or salad
more snacks: fresh fruit, veg and nuts (radishes and cherry tomatoes are good)
dinner: vegetable casserole (today it will be 10 bean and mushroom) or cous cous/quinoa and roast veg
if i am dying for carbs i eat a couple of multi-seed rivita.
i drink only water and herbal teas.
i do not allow myself any dairly apart from a bit of bio yoghurt, or meat, or alcohol for the first 3-4 days.
