ok...its so simple...just takes a few mins.
100g caster sugar
4 x 15ml tablespoons golden syrup
one and a half teaspoons bicarbonate soda
1.Put the sugar and syrup into saucepan and stir together to mix. Dont stir once the pan is on the heat.
2.Put the mixture on the heat, let it melt, then turn to goo then to a bubbling mass...will probably take about 3 mins using a medium heat. Dont let it burn...if it does it is ruined.
3. Take off the heat, stir in the bi carb and watch the mixture turn into a cloud of aerated pale gold. Turn the mixture out immidiately onto a greaseproof paper and leave to set.
4.When it is set, bash it and make into pieces
