My flatmate bought 2 halibut steaks (nearly had a heart attack as it cost £16!!!!!) so i want to do as little as possible and keep as much flavour to the fish as possible, so i don't want to kill it by covering in a sauce.

Any suggestions? Heard something about wrappoing it in brown paper/foil parcel and letting it steam in its own juices with a little white wine, olive oil and lemon? If so, for how long?

Thanks!

Yes I agree....

Don't know about the cooking times as I don't know the weight. You get some grace with steaming though..
I agree too. To get the full flavour of the fish place it in foil add a lttle lemon juice and black pepper wrap up carefully so the steam can't get out and put into the oven. 30 minutes would be fine.
