Minecraft might keep you busy for a bit. It is like WoW in the sense that it is addictive.
I play FFXI Online, it is similar to WoW but is a Japanese MMORPG and has distinct Japanese styling. It is considered more challenging that WoW by all who have played both games. I have played for over 2 years now and I still love it. Some people have been playing since it's launch 9 years ago and are still finding new things to do.
By the way, one of the main differences between WoW and FFXI is that one character can level all 20 job classes, you don't have to start a new character.
you dont have to start a new char to level different classes and professions in WoW.

Daffy can I but it in say game or do I have to send off for it?

Thanks Ed
also, as Daffy hinted at ,there's soooooo much to do once you've leveled to 85, its not a case of "right, done that- next!" it really isn't.
9 minutes for B00 to find a WoW thread.............

Were you distracted by cake....? LoL

Boo a little confused I have 5 different char in WoW how does one character level all classes
lmao, shuddup :P

Boo I know but I get bored not leveling, your just earning gold.
not class, sorry for confusing you, but professions you can change as and when you like.
Does raiding not interest you? you in a guild?
FFXI is best bought through Steam, it can be difficult to find the base game and all expansions in shops as it is quite an old game now. You can buy the Ultimate Collection in some places though.

B00, I thought you could only level one job on each character in WoW, that was what my stepson told me a while ago.
See above, i got confused, easily done ;-)

Boo the thing with raids is that you have to make appointments, you know in front of the PC at 19:00 etc and I can't make those commitments.

If someone rings and suggests drinks i'm going but then you let the other raiders down.

If you want to have a look at the basics of FFXI the above (official) site is a good place to start.

Lol, yep, fraid so, you'll have some very peed off guildies if you don't turn up!

And a nother thing is I have only been in a guild once, played nice when I was gold rich I put drops in the vault, even put gold in then you find people ripping the entire guild off, that was me out of guilding.
We have Linkshells rather than Guilds. We also hold events (not called raids in FFXI) and some linkshells will get annoyed if you don't turn up. Those are mostly the elite end-game shells though. The one I am in is pretty laid back and have never given me any hassle when real life has got in the way of their schedule.
