Hi I didn’t know where to post this but think some of you guys might be able to help
I am after a new av amp and will probably stick with Yamaha ,could anybody tell me if Dolby atmos is any good (I could easily add two high speakers at the front )I have noticed some of the newer amps don’t support atmos has it been replaced or is it obsolete
Any info much appreciated thanks in advance

I'm somewhat out of my depth here but I think that this is probably well worth a read:

(The article is only two months old, so Atmos would seem to be far from 'obsolete')

Cheers interesting reading
Atmos does sound very much here and now , It does say you need a Atmos-enabled AV receiver which is why I can understand some of the new and quite expensive ones not supporting it ,future proofings my goal cheers
