how do the police find out about you ;;; if you all ready have a record ??? is it your address or your date of birth ?

the criminal records office have on their computers all your details if you have been found guilty of a crime,ie dob,fingerprints,scars,birthmarks etc etc.

They have a Police National Database where only the police can access. They can find out in lots of ways i.e. name, aliases, address, date of birth your record will then have details of any scars, birthmarks, fingerprints and any previous convictions etc
