Sims 2 downloads

Ive had the sims2 for years now and am a keen player. The only problem ive ever had is with downloading objects for my game! Ive downloaded a lot in the past, however i dont know what to do once theyve been downloaded! They are all in those files with 'zips' on in my documents, but how do i get them into the game so i can use them? do they need unlocking or something?? if anyone could help that would be appreciated! thanx!!

The site also has a tool called 'Q-Express' which basically does all the hard work for you which I would recommend looking at!
