Nintendo have always been good at online stuff but the problems have been that 1. they always required some sort of add on and 2. not many people played on line (see 1). The online stuff on the DS is fine so no reason to believe ti would be any different on the Wii.
As with the DS the Wii internet stuff will be built in (including WiFi).
With regards to the graphics, they will be better than the PS2 but not up to the level of XBox 360 or PS3 mainly because of a lack of support for HD, having said that with the exception of Gears of War I haven't been blown away by anything I have played on the 360.
Call of Duty 3 will be available on the release day, I'm not sure how the control system will work out but it looks like it could be fun to me.

nintendo know that the wii is crap. they are selling it as a 2nd console, so they say themselves that if you dont have a console you wouldnt want this as your primary games machine. its like the gamecube, the games can be fun for a few hours, then you put it away and never play it again whereas the ps3 and xbox 360's games have a lot more playability.
saying that, i hear that they are making mario 128, the sequal to mario 64. obviously mario sunshine was too awful to count as a sequel

I've preordered mine for next friday. Our staff room (at a primary school) is buzzing with anticipation for the motion sensor control where you swing the control pad for a tennis game and golf and poke and tilt it for others etc. The after school club has ordered one for the children too. It looks amazing.
Tom,
Here's the sitauation: firstly, the graphics aren't as good as the XBox 360 or the PS3. Nintendo have more or less admitted so themselves. However, this fact, coupled with the lack of a DVD player or CD player means that they can keep the cost down. Which, in turn, works out cheaper for the consumer. Also, just because the graphics aren't as good as either the 360 or PS3, that doesnt mean they will be completely rubbish. Some Gamecube games have amazing graphics (look at the Resident Evil remake).
Also, this idea that the Wii is only a slightly more powerful Gamecube is wrong: its meant to be 2-3 times more powerful than the GC. You can go online with the Wii, and many of the new titles will be online-enabled. Its cheap and accessible.
