Altered Beast

Anyone remember a game called Altered Beast for the Sega megadrive? And any chance anyone knows where I might be able to get a version for the PC?

What a great game it was! Didn't you start the game by coming out of a tombstone that blew up? with the creepy words..... "Rise From You Grave"?

I remember you would turn into various beasts, I remember the warewolf at the begining (and a diffeerent coloured one at the end of the game) a flying dragon and a bear, each with their own special powers. Can't remember much else though.

Anyone else?

I actually have the Genesis emulator and also 850 titles incluiding Altered Beast, in fact its one of the best little playable games out lol.

Plays as smooth or even smoother than the gensis ever did.

*long pause to remember emulator name*

The emulator was called Gens i'm sure.

just google ROMS and you'll be in the money.

Yeah Road rash 2 was good, and another driving game i cant get anymore called Total Racing where it had copies of rally, touring and F1 cars and also dakar rally cars and you had to race on these different courses. Just seems to have dissapeared. Oh well, they dont make then like the used too.

There was a rumour that a new version of Altered Beast was coming out for the PS2, but nothing's come of it so they've either done it for the PS3 or not at all.

Another Mega Drive classic for me has always been Streets of Rage. It was just great, such a shame that 2 & 3 were poor.
