So far the clever controller has been little more than a novelty.
It's only fun for a while. I adored Super Monkey Ball on the Gamecube but I find the Wii version using the motion sensing controller utterly infuriating.
The games that actually make proper use of it are few and far between and the release schedule is rather bare.

I own a Wii and I must say it's not all that great. Sure the Wiimote is an excellent idea and can be fun to play with but that's about it.
Most of the games are child orientated and so there isn't much choice.
The only thing I'd keep my Wii for would be for Guitar Hero 3 in 2008, and perhaps Wii Music later on this year. Otherwise I'd trade it for an 360 :P

I have all three consoles (more money then sense !) and to be honest the one that gets the most use is the 360. The PS3 will get used more when there are more exclusive games for it later in the year and the wii sits gathering dust. I loved the idea of it but it really only comes in to its own in a party situation.
Maybe I should just throw more parties ?

Well, i done it. I traded my 360, 2 wireless controllers and games. In return i got a credit note for 391.00.I chose a wii ( with sports pack ) and also got mario football, godfather, red steel, excite truck, zelda, medal of honour, spiderman 3 and last but not least cooking mama ( for my daughter). My 360 was 5 months out of warranty and i know loads of people who have had the rings of death. Good deal methinks for a 360 that was just gathering dust.
