playstation 1 no sound

just dug out my playstation 1, set it all up, switched on the ony music came on but when the game loaded theres no sound, can someone tell me whats wrong with it, please help - thanks in advance :)

Try replugging the scart lead (the one to your tv) back into the back of it, or fiddling with it. Happens to mine too, but only as the lead is loose. (try the tv end too.)
