Games purchased in USA

Hey can anyone help I've returned home from Florida today (only a little depressed) whilst out there I bought 2 games in Wal-mart a DS game and a Wii game, the assistant told me these games would be compatible for playing at home(UK). Going on this recommendation - I also purchased another Wii game at Orlando airport. I've tried playing them today, but they will not play --- Does anyone know what I can do---- Unfortunately I cannot go back and ask for my money back until next year !!!

I can only suggest trying to resell them on ebay to someone who has bought an imported Wii. Annoying when that happens, you could complain to Walmart, but it is a bit difficult when you can no longer reeturn the goods.

I have a USA DS game and it works in my UK nintendo DS. it works just as well as a UK game.

DS games are fine, it is the Wii games that are the problem - they are regional.

The DS game should be fine, but if you have your receipt you should be able to take them back to any Asda store for refund/exchange.

Sorry - that should be, your receipt from Walmart, not for the one bought at Orlando airport.

thanks for all your help the DS one doesn't work but I've not got a DS lite - someone said it will work fine on a lite - i've not got the wal-mart receipts so i'll have to wait for my credit card statement to show them... i'll have to ebay the Orlando Airport one I think..... thanks

I have bought DS games in the states for my sons DS lites and they definitely work - hope you get it all sorted out.

Asda is now owned by walmart so contacting their head office could be a way of sorting it.
