I've just realised that 3 months after buying our Wii, no-one has used it for at least 6 weeks. Even though the pyhsics work quite well has anyone else found the entertainment value short lived and gimmicky? TBH I spend more time on my old Xbox.
Yeah Mr Boo paid wayyyyyyyyy over the odds for his when they were released in his excitement to have one (bless him eh?) he played with it for a few weeks, then it sat in it's box at the back of the room for at least 6 months before he sold it to his teen nephew.
Unfortunately I must agree, mine does not get the use it should. Most games only hold interest for a short while before you realise they are all motion gimmicks and have no long term lastability.
My Sister got one for Christmas last year and at first the whole family found it fantastic. Great fun when you can get multiple people playing it (Especially if you involve some alcohol :D)
But after a month or so the games lose their novelties.
I recommend doing more research into single player games as well as multiplayer ones as most do, gives the console some appeal when not doing stupid mini games with friends.
I recommend Mario Galaxy, was great when i got it and its one of the few games that I still enjoy.
