Hello!
Thickie Gill here! I have a PS2 and have just bought Buzz TV Quiz for PS3 but it is not recognising the disc. Is this correct?
Many Thanks

A PS2 will not play a PS3 disc,I believe a PS3 will play PS2 discs though. Why would Sony bother releasing a new console if all new games worked on old consoles?
As far as I am aware PS2 discs wont work on PS3 consoles either.
PS2 games will only work on the 60GB PS3, none of the other models of PS3 are backwards compatible
I assume this question is a wind-up?

No this question is not a wind up, how arrogant of you to assume everyone has your knowledge.

I won the PS2 and decided to buy a new game for it,and I didn't notice any warnings when I purchased this game.

I work a lot in the arts and craft field, where a die cutting machine from one company, will invariably cut dies from at least another 5 with no problem. So to me, not a stupid question.

Thank you to the people who answered my question. At least the new buzz buzzers work!
ps3 is also blu ray is it not?
