Downloading DS games
I have seen posts looking for sites to download free DS games. I am perfectly happy to pay for games, but would prefer to download them rather than have all the packaging and instructions as I now have a whole box of those that the kids have simply taken the game out of and never gone back to the box again - seems a waste to me and presumably it would be cheaper as well without the packaging. I can't seem to find anywhere to do that - i have seen places where you can get free demos, but not the complete game.
Anbody got any suggestions?

You need to buy an adapter such as this:

I highly doubt you can download demo games for the DS....seeing as Nintendo do not condone media cards.
On another, but similar, note, i also see a lot of folk asking for where to download NDS games, then getting the obvious "stop stealing games" replies.
I agree that it's wrong, but every time i come into the gaming section, the "ads by Google" (on the right hand side --->) always shows ads for R4, Supercards, etc, for doing just that.
I think it's a bit silly for folk to have a go at people for asking where to get the NDS Roms, when the site you are on is advertising where to get the media cards to play them on!!

It is LEGAL to use DS Adapters to:
Use homebrew applications, including homebrew-games, internet-browsing applications, and may other amazing pieces of software available (both for free and for money) to convert your Nintendo DS into a wide variety of useful tools!
Play MP3s of songs you already own (much in the same fashion as iTunes etc. where you can download/purchase tracks and own them).
Play movies (in .dpa format) that you already own and convert yourself.
Play backup versions of games you already own i.e. consolidate your 20 game collection onto one card for ease of transportation.

Thanks for all the answers guys - The kids use R4 cards with the games I have bought - saves losing the originals and easier to carry about. You can download demos through nintendo shops, but that is not what I was looking for. I would have thought that you could download the games just like downloading music, perfectly legally and with an appropriate cost. Maybe we will just have to wait until this service is offered, it is no wonder that people go illegal, when you are paying for a plastic box and booklet that you never use and that is not only expensive, it is unfriendly to the environment.
In my opinion its better to simply buy a game card from http://www.ultimategamecard.com/ which is reliable, costs 10$ to 20$, and also play full version of hundreds of mmorpg's......
