Sims - any fans??

I have Sims 2 for the PSP and really like the game itself.. but DARN it is slow and keeps scanning the disk to load the next screen etc etc so have to wait loads..

Is this just the Sim 2.... Is Sims Castaway or The SIms1 any better - ie faster to load and play???

I'm afraid that all of the sims games on ps2 and psp are really slow, i had sims 2 on ps2 and every 3 seconds it lags, and sims 2 pets and psp is even worse. Its a shame they cannot do one as good as the c version yet.
