How do you record the ds?

Anyone knows how to record the ds screen I don't care about the 2nd screen (the touching screen) I just want the 1st at least. I see lot of People in YouTube tha records Pokemon Wifi Battles in HQ/HD. How do you you do that and they don't record using an emultors+ a game+ a software that records the pc screen. I think they use real games, real nintendo games
