Harvest Moon

I have just purchased on E-Bay a nintendo D.S.game Harvest Moon Island of Happiness. It is sealed and marked with the official nintendo seal but the name Natsume is on the front and on the back it says for sale and use only in U.S.A canada and latin America. Will this play on my Grandaughters D.S. console..I will feel such a fool if I have been duped, and out of pocket too if I have to replace this game!!!!

Where was the seller based?

Did you buy the console in the States? - If not then its not going to work with this game

And for a 3 year old game you could probably pick it up cheapily in GAME etc now

Sorry JackDaniels forgot, the console was bought from a game shop in the Midlands,, I could only source this particular game on E-Bay went to 2 game shops and they only stock the latest games...I appreciate your help

Nintendo DS does not have any region lockouts. I quite happily play Japanese and US games on my European DS.

Like Daisho, my kids have many US and French DS games and they play on their DSs and DSis with no issues.

Thanks to all who have troubled to answer, I suppose it stands to reason that bad feedback would have been left if the games would not play as the seller has a games shop in Birmingham...I just didn't want my grandaughter to be disappointed at Christmas as she so enjoyed the Harvest Moon game I bought at my local shop for her October birthday and I know this Isle of Happiness game is what she wants now
