xbox 360 on virgin

I used to connect my 360 to the net with the ethernet cable when i was with bt and it would work strait away. but since i have changed to virgin cable, when i plug the ethernet cable into my modem the xbox says that it cant find my ip address. has anyone else had this problem?

Your 360 still has your BT i.p address on it. You need to go to the settings and put your virgin i.p address in. Its that easy.
