yes i want grace ann wilson mother i did have the certifacate but lost it june 1903 in richmond but when i have phone the office to check records there is no evedance

can't see her birth in the index, defo 1903 was it? You need to find her in richmond in 1911 to id her family and then checl them on the 1901 maybe, or find their marriage on the gro .

Her marriage certificate will give her father;s name, which would be a help. It's not tricky, I need more clarity with the way you are giving the information it is disjointed and confusing.
You have Grace Ann Wilson born 1903 Richmond (Is that surrey ot North Yorks?) You want to know her mothers maiden name, you have the marriage cert for Grace and Jack Wilson, what is Grace's father's name on the marriage cert and how old is grace when she married and when was that?

My Nana on her birth certificate is called Jean Wilson on other certificates its says Jane Wilson. She was born in Pickering North Yorkshire on 23rd September 1930 But her father was called John William Marshall Grace Ann Wilson is the mother of Jean Wilson. On Grace's death certificate says she was born in Richmond North Yorkshire on the 11 June 1903 but there is no certificate evidence at that office. on graces marriage certificate she married a James Alfred Flynn in 1928 aged 24 and graces Father was called Jack Wilson (deceased) Father was a chimney sweep and got married in Thirsk And lived on Thirsk Road so then Grace Flynn died in Hull in 1974. Note this Family is travelers and don't stop at any permanent address.
