He died March 14th 1880 in Deolali, India of Bronchitis- looking for his date and place of birth and his service record. Also looking for his wife's date and place of birth. She outlived him returned to Ireland had a posthumus baby, James in Novemeber 1880 and finished up in New Jersey and died somewhere after 1931 ( she's in the census). I have their other children pretty well, but this bloke and his wife have proved to be a real pain, and the baby I've only just found out about. Any help/ or suggestions would be gratefully recieved.

Hi Nox and Bryher. Will give the first one a go and then will get back to you. I didnt realise so many would reply already but I will do my best. You are going to keep me busy on this rainy day :>) Perhaps some other Geno experts might want to chip in
The reason I'm looking for him is that I also do trees for people but I'm damned if I can find this man's birth or indeed his wife's. Many thanks for new eyes on it Otherhalf.:) Let me know if you need more info:)
george was baptised at elmore 18 dec 1791 son of Thomas ans Elizabeth Sansom.
Thomas Sansom married Elizabeth Stathams 4 Oct 1784 Ansty Warwickshire, pretty sure that's the right Thomas, there was only 1 marrying an Elizabeth in England around that date
Thanks Dotty, I had that too. I think they also had a daughter Hannah, christened 6.6.1788. I will see what I can find out about her too. It might just throw up some more info
I Knew it would be difficult finding this part of my family tree as it seems Methodist Ministers ( United Reformed) moved aroud a lot.
William Henry Gregory my great grandfather in 1911 was Methodist Minister of Chumleigh Chapel he was married to Eliza Gregory ( Origin Penzance) I think her maiden name was Jelbert or Gelbert it was his second marriage. I believe my grandfather was born in London. I just wondered if there was any such thing as a United reform record office. Many thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
I'm abit confused about which Church your ancestor Ministered in, was he a Methodist Minister? The United Reform Church isn't the same nor does it historically stem from any Methodist Church I don't think, you probabaly mean the United Methodists, try here: (John Rylands library)

Yes. Trying to find a marriage between George Spoors and Sushannah Farrer, possibly about 1830-4 in Northumberland or Durham. He was a potter. I have them in the 1841 (Brewery Bank, Byker, Newcastle) and 1851 census ( 264 Wear Street,
Southwick, Sunderland). Both born c.1811
Any information gratefully received. I know the family moved to Burslem in Staffordshire (The Potteries) where their second and third daughters were born. They then moved back to the north east, had a son, a daughter, Rebecca, my ancestress, then two more sons.
George and Susannah married 27 OCT 1832 St Michael'S Church, Bishopwearmouth, Durham, England, George born 24 MAR 1811 Brasside, Durham, England and Christening: 09 JUN 1811 St Margaret'S Church,City Of, Durham, Durham, England and Death: 1866 Sunderland District, , Durham, England
Dotty. How can I thank you? Where and how did you find this information?
I am so pleased that you found it for me but obviously would love to be able to find it myself. Thanks again. Glynis.
