Sorry I didn't get back to this yesterday - one of those days!
The best Anne Medd I can find was born in Dec 1845 in Bridlington and in assorted census returns appeared with parents John Medd born 1811 and Sarah (nee Stephenson) born 1820 who were married in Mar 1843 in Bridlington. Siblings include William born 1843, Ellis born 1850, Thomas born 1854 and George born 1859. This looks to be a second marriage for John: there was an older son, also John, born 1839 and in 1841 John senior appeared with Mary born 1816.
So if this Anne is correct, she was 21 in 1866 which is more credible. I looked for children for this couple and there were several births: Ada Tindall in Jun 1866, Mary in Mar 1867, Ann in Sep 1868 and William in Jun 1872 where the infant died in the same year. The IGI has a baptism for a Mary Tindall on 3 Mar 1867 in Bridlington, parents George and Ann Tindall [C10586-1]. Can't spot an obvious death for George, there was one in York in Dec 1871 age 40, but he could have died just about anywhere in the country or even in the world if he was a seafarer or in the army etc. Should you get the marriage certificate then there just may be a clue in George's age and occupation which will help find his death.
