Putting a post without a title is discourteous. It's also very difficult to open a post without a title (as clicking the title is the usual way to open it).
Hi dotty/craft/anyone else who's looking in (particularly if you've a brain I can pick),
I found out today that a childhood friend died two years ago, we'd not been in contact for ages save to pass the time of day on FB when a mutual friend reconnected us both(which is how I found out, by posting happy birthday and then reading the other birthday messages!) I'm clearly not devastated or anything like that but I would like to know how he died, morbid curiousity I guess... I know his full name, DOB, and when he died, I tried googling with no luck at all... do either of you know any non-intrusive ways I can find out how? (I'm not going to email his Mrs, it's been two years, I've only just noticed and I am only really satisfying my own curiousity and the three other girls who went to youth group with him many moons ago!)
Ta for letting me pick your brain!

cause of death isn't available outside of a death certificate or a coroners report, if he had died of an accident or foul play say, then there would have been a probable google hit from a local newspaper. through illness it would only be via getting the death cert from the local registrar that you would have more detail. obits in local papers or in memorium may be helpful, you could go onto their website and search
