Can't Get By A Fred Jezard
Frederick Jezzard(Jessard) b1808-d1888 in Margate Kent, buried at St John Church Margate, married(1834) Maria Pilcher b1804 Minster, Ramsgate, Kent, d1864. Only found him a week ago, got him on several census readings but Just can't wriggle by him to a father, so before I go ordering a birth cert thought i'd ask for any help please.

there was a thomas jezard married in 1843 at canterbury living margate and on his marriage certificate his father is henry jezard a labourer, in 1841 there is an elizabeth jezard (transcribed Iezard) living in the st john's parish margate aged 65 (b1776) with a son walter, b @ 1821, a henry jezard marries an elizabeth goodberry, not tracked that yet but will keep looking.

A monument to Stephen Jessard, late of this parish, who died 3d Sept. 1768, aged 80; also Mary his wife, daughter of Mary and Henry Collard, of Chislett, who died 10th July, 1761, aged 69; also Henry Jessard, grandson of the above, who died Oct. 18th, 1805, aged 53; and Mary Jessard, sister of the above Henry Jessard, who died 1st Feb. 1821, aged 66.

timberup at death registration he is entered as Henry Thomas Jezard in 1905, and so the 'first henry' and the thomas 1836 may be the same person!
on the 1851 he's henry thomas too.

they lived in croyden up to 1901, matilda was widowed by then and living with her daughter emily darrall. Matilda Rayment nee Jezard died in 1908 aged 73 registered croyden Q4 1908 2a 197

problem is there were no birth certificates before 1837, either you can find a father on the marriage entry for him or his siblings if one of them married after 1837 OR you locate a baptism for him or one of his siblings, or even find a parent living with one of the grown children on a census, or a will, it's the only way to confirm the father/mother.
